Events in the Area

This page lists some of the special events in the area hosted by evangelicals, to which all are welcome.

November 2008
Saturday 29th - 10am - the official opening of the Light of Hope and the Nativity in Bournemouth Square by the Mayor, followed by a prayer of thanksgiving by a local pastor.
The Salvation Army band will be playing, so it will be a good chance to have a sing and catch up with old friends.

December 2008
Throughout December the churches are invited to sing carols in Bournemouth Square. Contact Town Centre Manager's secretary to book a time slot    jenny.warwick@bournemouth.gov.uk .

Sunday 14th - Christmas Pageant in Bournemouth.  Churches need to get involved with banners for the procession, costumes for wise men and shepherds etc.  The march of witness will finish at the balloon in the gardens for a carol service.
